Default Folding Back Seat with a broken cable

Hey there everyone, I have a 95 blazer (maybe called S10, yes?) that has the 60/40 fold down rear seats.

Well, the 40 side doesn't fold down. When you pull on the handle on the back side, you can see that the inside cable has broke, and retracted inside the seat. From what I can see from the other seat is that the inside cable attaches to a piece inside the locking mechanism, and I'm not sure how to access that piece to release it.

I'm not even super worried about fixing the cable, but I use my blazer to transport my dogs, and would love it if I could just get that side flipped down, and then it could just stay there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

where the seat mounts to the floor you should see where the cable connects to the hinge joint..outer side of seat hinge. just push that down and you should be able to fold it down. watch your fingers. also if you have a 4 door this will be much easier.
