Default Fuel guage

Well, some of you already know that I replaced my fuel pump/sending unit a few months ago. Everything has been working fine now until last week sometime. I'll get down to about 1/4 tank, and I'll put about 6 or 7 gallons in, this will put my gauge right up to 3/4 and stick for about 50 some miles, then it will drop just to below half. I'm wondering if this Airtex unit might be fubar. Either today, or in the next 2 days, I'll be dropping the tank for 2 reasons...1. To determine what's causing the sticking gauge, and 2. So I can do a write up like I said I would a few months back. If anyone has special requests for photo's during this project, let me know now.

So much for that idea. Wife 2.0 wouldn't let me touch it yesterday, and today we are looking at 90% showers and thunderstorms today. Maybe tomorrow.

I missed the last thread you made, but it sounds to me like a bad sending unit, or a bad wire connection. but yea if your gonna take pics post em, let me see if the underbelly of my Blazer is as dirty as everybody else's around the tank area
