Default Fuel pump!!!

Fuel pump just crapped out, unable to replace it myself. How much can I expect to pay to have a "reputable" shop replace it? I've been quoted $700-1000.

the fact you only want a oem pump. Look at around 700 bucks. pump it self is about 300

Hate to say it but some of these parts and the labor to put them in cost more than the book value anymore.

alldata shows 3.2hrs book time to replace pump. i dont know what labor rates for shops are there but here in DFW they run around $100 an hour. so would be $320 + part. If part costs around $300, adding in markup total job should be around $650-700
