A few weeks ago, my blazer wouldn't start. Turns out it was the fuel pump, which totally sucked because it cost me $530 to get it fixed. Is that an average price? Just curious.
Rumor has it that blazers are known for this type of thing... Anyone else?

Yeah, that included labor and it was a brand new fuel pump. I had some other work done... like a tune-up and state inspection. All in all, the total was $877.23. Needless to say, it was an expensive trip to the garage. The best part was that I bought my blazer on January 26, 2006 and guess what day it died on me? January 26, 2008. Two years to the day!!! Weird. [sm=WTFsgign.gif]

Last night my blazer died on me. I was on my way home from the g/f's place. Truck lost ALL power and shut off while at 65-70 mph on the highway. Got it started again and it died a 2nd time. I couldn't get it to start. The engine just cranked and nothing was happening. I called my buddy "MOOSE" he pushed me into a parking lot of a bank. The truck died at a stop-light. My dad called AAA for me and I had it towed to the local garage down form where I live at.
