hey I was just wondering how many of you guys have changed from stock tires to some sort of off-road tires. like, lets say i went from the laredos that i have to bf goodrich all-terrains, would that impact my gas milage? i'm really thankful and really appreciate all your help!

I just changed to off road tires but haven't checked mileage. But It shouldn't affect it unless you go to large tires. I replaced 235-70x15 with 235-75x15 so I'm a slight bit taller but a little narrower.

Doesn't that mean they are both 235mm wide, which would make you taller and just as wide lol.

Tires can and most often will affect your fuel mileage. One thing that I wish manufacturers would publish is the rolling resistance of the tire. That and the weight difference and you will know exactly what will happen to the mileage.
Not that it applies too much to the s-series, but on my Rainier, I dropped a consistent 1mpg when I junked the original Michelin Cross Terrain SUV (255-60R17) for the Bridgestone Dueler HL Alenza tires on it now (same 255-60R17 size). The Dueler tire is 2lbs heavier per tire with almost the same aggressiveness on the tread.
So yes, tires can affect your mileage.

I lost about 2 mpg when I changed from 235/75/15 Kumho all seasons to 265/70/15 Grabber AT2s.

I lost 2 - 3 MPG, maybe even 4 (on the highway, but that could be because of the broken valence and other accessories) switching to my BFG All-Terrains. But they're 30x9.5 R15 instead of 235/75R15 that it came with.
I'm going to start looking for another tire... Heck, maybe even factory replacements, as they were decent on dry pavement... But something with a less aggressive tread, and maybe lighter than stock, if possible... Maybe I'll go to the 235/70R15 size, lol.

Did you get your computer adjusted for the new tire size?
Otherwise your mileage should only increase on the highway...
