Found this on another board.. unbelievable!

Chevy puts out APB on missing Sonic brake pads, issues recall

What exactly is a "Sonic"? Never heard of one.

Still, a bit of an oversight at the plant!

EDIT: Just did a Google, butt *** ugly econobox!

The sonic replaced the Aveo. I would still never buy one but they are a lot nicer than the Aveo. They're made the the US too.

We havent gotten any with missing pads yet at the dealership i work at. Who know how many are actually missing them. I could have been one car for all we know.

Also if a dealership got one it would get caught during the inspection before it even makes it to the lot.

Wouldn't you hear an odd metal scraping noise the first time you apply the brakes?
