Default spider assembly!

New to the site, just taking a look around! Just replaced my second spider assembly in TWO years! Seems to be running well now though... If only the air conditioning worked!!

Question Where they a problem in the earlier generation?

What did it start doing or not doing that made you go to that expense?

I was getting 9 mpg, (made my drive 1200 mile trip back from Louisiana pretty expensive!) and everything REEKED of gas. Acceleration was like, 0-60 in 10 minutes. When my dad and I opened everything up, there was gas all up in there. Spider assembly was SOAKED in gasoline. It was a messss.
