You must be thinking of Euro lights...

They most likely are.

Most projectors are euro style...

However, Brett has no issue with different styled headlights, unless they're the bubble eye look

So I called DOT with the serial number on the headlights and it turns out that they are legally dot approved. I had them send me an email with th info just in case it happens again.

if he didnt ticket you then dont worry about it....just keep that email in ur truck in case it happens again
