Just an interesting thought I had yesterday.... how do i get in to remove the gov?

Why would you want to remove it? For one a Blazer at such speeds would be unsafe and I've actually heard of driveshafts letting go at high speeds when gov's are removed, apparently they're only good to a certain RPM.

It's controlled through the PCM, you'll have to get either a hand held tuner, or have your's tuned to remove it.

The top speed of the vehicle is controlled by the Power Control Module (PCM), the 'brain'. You have to have it reprogrammed.

the only reason you should remove the gov is if you are building your truck to do the 1/4, theres no reason you should need to remove the gov for normal street driving

Im with this guy. 95 is not fast enough on the highway. Nothings worse than puttin yer foot in the tank & hitting the gov.
