So I've heard that most newcars are sold with lojack installed for dealership/lend institution use. Can one of you dealership mechanics go into this further and even help me with the location? uhhh....I wanna make sure I don't accidentally damage it. lol

I know the GPS (On-Star) is located above the rear passenger wheel well in the back (inside the plastic). I plan on taking it out of mine too....

That's good to know. I still want to hear from a dealership mechanic though. They may know of some additional spots. For example, last night I heard on a different forum that the LOJACK box is about the size of a deck of cards, and sometimes they place them under the dash itself. I'm suprised people get mad about the Phone Tapping, but they stay quiet about dealerships installing lojack without notice of the owner.

Dealer lojack is there to protect their assests.. *cough* right? :P
