Help
Looking for advice and or opinions I bought a 1993 Chevrolet Blazer today and was talking to my friends that I bought it from she informed me that she had replaced the brakes on the blazer and had blead them however the issues is that the brake pedal still goes to the floor so I'm looking to get advice on what could possibly help fix this issue and opinions on how to fix it?
I'm not familiar with that year. Does it have ABS? If so air could have gotten into the ABS system. The ideal fix would be to trigger the ABS motors to cycle them and drive out the air.
One way to tigger them without a special tool is to dive on gravel and then slam on the brakes to trigger the ABS and then re-bleed the system manually.
A technique that can also work is to gravity bleed it by letting the fluid out through the bleed valves slowly by gravity.
Perhaps someone with more specific knowledge can be of more help.
