Default Help with Idea

MY idea was to replace the front skidplate with diamond plate. I know this has been done by 1 if not more of the people on here. Mine is looking pretty beet up. I would want to put a door in it like the stock one so i can still get to the filter. Any help would be awsome.

fla_blazer 4x4 did it I think. But he's got a 2wd so he didn't need the access hole. A simple hinge would work fine I would think

What do you need help with? Just copy the plastic one onto some diamond plate. Cut. Bend. Weld if necessary for some of the contours (or the access door retention) and you are done.
