No i cracked the sheet metal i had to have it welded...I had a wall with 4 15's so i needed to get to the bottom side of the roof so i could reinforce it

man you must really be bassing to break the metal roof, ive never heard of that happening.

sometimes it doesn't take as much as you'd think.

i broke the TG's internal brace in my '92 Jimmy, and all i had running (for low end) was 2, JL Audio 12w6's.

but it was a really well built box.

needs more screws!



***edit*** danm, forgot the main reason i came back to this thread tonight!

i called both of my suppliers here in the big TO, and they both said that the rear bumpers w/o the impact strip holes stopped being made a few years ago.

i figure it's because the later 1st gens mostly had impact strips on the bumpers.

although i can order a front bumper cleanly shaven. figure that one out!!
