Default Hey all

I'm in SW Virginia and have a '92 Tahoe Blazer since 1998. Put a lot of miles on it going cross country pulling an old '74 Airstream trailer but right now it's in the shop and the mechanic is telling me he can't come up with a proportioning valve for the brakes. Any ideas? I'll post pics later. In all those years I've only had to replace the radiator and the starter.

Why on earth can your mechanic not source one from a junkyard?

I don't know , that's the next step I guess-I talked to him yesterday and he said he was trying to track the part number down since it's been changed 3 times over the years but I don't know why he won't track it down through a junk yard-I'll talk to him about that. Thanks
