Congrats to both of you. Although you will have to please refrain from posting pictures. 4 door with a 5 speed and fender flares AND clear rear glass and another 4 door with those fender flares and clear rear glass?!?!?!

'tain't right!

Just kidding, post all the pics you want, just don't be surprised if we get jealous!

Haha, funny how something you have stock is desirable over here and what we have stock is desirable over there.

Hi and welcome. Nice looking motor, is that black or dark blue? I seem to have different wheels to most of the UK blazers I've looked at, they are definiteley genuine GM as it says so on them but I've not seen another advertised with the same rims on. Most have the swirly ones like yours.

Dark blue, I love the colour....

I didn't know that until the good man above put it up... Mine are LT wheels then!

TBH and not knocking yours, I think I prefer the wheels I have to the swirly LT ones, mine could do with a refurb though as they are a bit bubbly and crusty in places. I might have to see if I can get a second set from somewhere to use temporarily or I'll have to shove it on axle stands and get them refurbed whilst I'm on holiday later in the year. Would stop anyone stealing it whilst I'm away thats for sure. I'm not a massive fan of tints on anything other than a black car, then it can look great but because in the UK we have to have 70% of light transmitted through the front side windows it looks a bit daft as the most you'll be able to have legally on the front doors is a very light smoke. Backwards of that you can have limo tints if you want. I've just ripped the tints off my '67 C10 windows as they were so dark they made driving at night really dangerous, looked great from the outside but lethal after dark.

I just missed out on an aluminium roof basket for it yesterday on ebay. Would have looked cool and given me a place to sotre a spare wheel as the normal location is full of gas tank.

Good to see another UK owner on here - we seem to be pretty thin on the ground over here. Saying that don't think many Blazers were actually sold here anyway which probably explains it? I think they are great vehicles. I've had a few problems with mine but, to be honest I don't think any other vehicle with the same mileage on would have been any less reliable? Once I got them sorted it has been a great vehicle - during the recent snow it went places that many other vehicles couldn't.
Only thing that really pisses me off is the stupid immobiliser that re-arms itself after a couple minutes when the engine has been stopped. This only happens on the European models. It means that if you ever lose or break the fobs there is no easy way to get the engine started. When I first got mine I was forever forgetting after filling up with fuel, engine would start then die again - if anyone ever comes up with a way of disabling that system i'd pay good money to do so! I hope whoever thought of that idea got fired from GM! If they insist on an immobiliser why not just use a coded key like most other manufacturers?
Also - it's something different to the usual Cherokees & Japanese 4x4's - I think that's what I like the most!
I hope you enjoy owning yours as much as I enjoy mine.

Alright, I am curious about the headlights on the UK Blazers. Does it have a seperate high and low beam or does it have a combination high/low bulb?

They have seperate high & low beam. The inner parts of the lights are high beam & the outer is low beam. They cannot both be on together, when you select high beam the low beam lamps go off. The outside edges of the lights are little low wattage parking lights. When I am in the USA I notice the Blazers over there seem to use the inner part of the lights as daytime running lamps.
