Im looking for a class III hitch for my '89 4x4... Can anyone suggest a hitch that is pretty well hidden? I've found hidden hitches brand, but I have read that they stick out funny... Is this true? Thanks all

Haha every hidden hitch brand one Ive ever seen has not been hidden in the least bit, other than that I have no insight though.

Find a factory hitch. Nothing hides like a factory hitch.

Yeah a factory hitch, or I have a reese hitch I believe that was installed later at the dealership, or maybe it came with the truck from the factory like that. But it works great, is real solid and hides up behind the bumper pretty good (all you see is the reciever tube and the chain attachment points). It is tubular and looks like this one

Looks like the only choices you have, at least at this website, are the hidden hitch and some company I have never heard of.

I have a hidden hitch on my blazer and it hides pretty well underneath the rear bumber. Their is a white sticker on it that says, "hidden hitch." that might make it more visible, but why do you want to hide it? if you put a nice hitch cover on it, it can look real good.

I agree with trying to find a stock one. Mine is fairly well tucked away and it is more than strong enough for any towing or a hook up point for getting stuck like mine.

Finding a factory hitch is pretty much your only option...

Because you want it well hidden... pretty much all aftermarket hitches are going to be as visible as mine, give or take a couple inches.
