Cool Hood louves

Im thinking of adding a couple hood louves/vents to my blazer
To help it run cooler. Anyone done this and it work well, increase power. And
Last best place on the hood for them?

Doesn't increase power at all. If you do it make a drip pan to drain rain to a safe spot, electrical parts don't like being wet. Personally I like my cowl hood better for helping it run cooler. The louvered hood I had I sold.

Yeah it would be completely cosmetic, especially since I'm guessing your blazer is fuel injected. Hood scoops only added power to carbureted vehicles because it forced air into the engine.

Get cowl hood. I want to get cowl hood for my '95 S10 Blazer but need the money first and see if it is legal in Wisconsin or not.

I got a cowl hood on my blazer also but I would check into getting a goodmark hood for your truck that way you know it will fit right.

I saw a couple of hoods on JC Whitney a couple of months ago, you can look them up. I don't think that they were street legal though.
