Default hoods

I've been toying with the idea of making my own cowl hood lately, i like the good marks and others like it but they are just to much for me and there are some things i would change about them. has anybody made their own cowl hood before and even if you haven't what would the perfect hood look like to u?

this is going to be a good thread, I was looking on craigs list the other day
and saw a hood that had the scoops like the 1971-1973 mustang
Mach 1's, the dual NASA scoops looked real cool. I will search for it and post a pic of it, anyway after i saw that i fell in love
company called Unlimited Products,
found it on the Dezertdimes.com web site

thats really cool i love the way it kinda combines the cowl induction and the 2 scoop hoods.
i guess to me my favorite production hoods are the good marks that kinda come to a point at the front. give me a minute and ill find a picture.

found it

i like this hood because i don't like the ones that just go straight down but i don't really like how much of a point these come to. i rode by the chevy dealership the other day and looked over at the new camaros and really liked how they did that hood from the factory. it doesn't come down to to much of a point and the way that the edges taper down to the bottom part of the hood looks great.

ya the single looks real good. idk if i want to have a hole in the front of mine because
1. it would be hard to make myself
2. i think stuff would go into it when I'm driving and out in the woods

does it help with cooling or anything?
