Cool How to disable your auto lights in 4 seconds

you guys probably already know this but this is for those of you that didnt know this. i never knew the auto lights could be turned off on these which is kinda annoying. pull in a parking lot guy in front of you has to put a blanket in his front window cause your blindin him. or you got some of those cool clearance lights and you hate your daytime running lights always stealling the glory that those clearance light deserve. or like me you fry your alternator on the way to work and wonderin huh how the heck am i gonna get home cause those cool auto lights are gonna kill my battery and fuel injection requires electricity. anyways. push your dome overide switch 4 times with the blazer on and now your drl and auto lights will not crowd/steal the glory of those clearance lights. and to re enable them push it 4 times again. not sure if this area is the best place to post but i couldnt find a Hey i just found something really usefull on my blazer that i didnt know before section anywhere.

the dome override trick only works on a few modles in a limited year range. I haven't seen anyone narrow it down 100% yet, but I know when i told people it works for my '00, some one with a '98 or an '02 couldnt get it to work... it's hit or miss at best.

i dont know what the difference is

I can turn mine off like that, but they turn back on once you go to start the truck up again.

Mine doesn't, I'm waiting on some resistors to do it the "hard" way.

it wouldnt work in my 99. I can set the parking brake one click and it will work though. The over ride button will only work till you turn the key off though. Then you have to do it again. I put a resister in place of the sensor so they will always be off.
