Find out what's causing it, and fix it... a scan tool can help...

Most auto parts stores will do a free scan of your vehicle and at that time can clear the code.

Figure out what it is, fix it, and if its a stored code you need to clear for diagnostics disconnect the battery.

Morning,
I purchased an OBDII tool off amazon for around 25 bucks. I just leave it plugged into my Blazer. There are apps you can download to your phone that connect to it via Bluetooth.
Once I found the app that I really liked, I paid about 10 dollars to get the specific codes for my Blazer. Most of my code were minor so I just clear them out.
You can also use it for other vehicles too.
Good Luck
