Default How easy is it to steal a 1998 Blazer?

I know some vehicles are real easy to steal, just wondering how easy it is for a theif to steal my beloved 98 Blazer.

Was thinking about getting a kill switch installed. What the best part to install it too, battery? starter? something else?

more likely to get broken into than stolen IMO
Some thing as easy a a blinky LED on the back of your rear view mirror will likely deter 99.9% of the punks
You can buy for cheaper than this but you get the idea

Not sure we own high theft items. If they really want it they will just tow/flatbed it away. If I felt I had to put a kill in, I would break it at the starter solenoid wire and mount it were you want. Or the igniter wire might be less hassel.

all my kill switches i put on my trucks disable either the coil or the fuel pump. so the truck will still crank. i always figured that way the thief will just think its a piece of crap that wont start and go on his way. if its a starter disable they might think to look around for a switch

Guess it depends how bad someone wants it. Things get easier to steal when someone wants it bad enough
