Default How to get a better ride?

I have an 02 4x4 blazer and its very bouncy but I have put new shocks in it this spring (but they were the cheap ones from Oreilly) and all my steering and suspension part are good and in alignment.
Would buy better quality shocks help the ride, and what is the best shock for highway driving? Is there any other way to improve the ride of my blazer?

Thanks!

I went with a heavy duty shock, ride is a little stiff. (Don't want to go no where with a full cup of coffee). A good quality shock is a must, they're not that expensive. Hows your sway bar bushings looking? Worn control arm bushings can mess things up also.

How do you check those two things, would the control arm bushing have play just by jacking the truck up and checking for any play, similar to checking for bad tie rods?

I have ProComp ES9000's on my 94' and love them. they give me the perfect ride IMO, firm but forgiving. i can definitely tell when im on the trails, but city driving is nice and smooth. i would for sure get good quality shocks. I work at autozone and giggle inside when i see someone buying our cheapest shocks for their lifted trucks. granted, if its just a daily driver to get to work and back, ok go for it, however, if you ever plan on going off road for any reason, not just to go wheeling, good shocks make all the difference.

Monro Reflex's are pretty nice. And not too expensive.
