I want to pull off my chrome grille and paint it black. How do you get it off and what is the easiest way to paint it? Will a can of spray paint work just fine or should I buy something else?

BOTH OF THESE TOPICS HAVE BEEN BEAT TO DEATH!!
but it's your second post, so i'll look past it. I'll assume you have not read around much and do not know the value of search....

the search option opens up YEARS of posts to you in a flash. its on the top option bar right in the middle. you can even use "quotes" to find something specific (i.e. "hotdogs")

so now that you know how to search, here is what you were looking for:
paint = scuff with sand paper 150+ grit, spray with wtf ever paint you like. since it's the front and will take more hits, give it a lot of LIGHT coats to make for a better finish that will last. also consider a clear coats. i would say: spotty coat, light coat, light coat, finish coat, clear, clear. or do what i did and drench that MF in under coat

as for grille removal: pop your hood. get a 6mm socket and pull the 4 bolt head screws along the top lip. then yank the 2 over the bowtie in the center grill bar. there may or may not be 2 more down by the marker lights. at this point, i always just pull until it breaks off because i do this at junkyards.... (my grill is aftermarket and was on when i got the truck) anyway when yanking her out (there are pressure clips, it will feel like you are breaking it) dont pull too hard since the light bulbs have short wire leads...

anything else you may need to know is just a search away. enjoy your new black grille.
