How do i open the glass hatch on my 1996 2dr blazer?? I have no remote open, nor button on my dash, so how exactly do i open it? i manually opened i and replace the actuator figuring it was just burnt out but don't see anyway to get it open besides manually doing it from the inside. It's supposed to pop open when i put the key in, right?

 

also i have checked the ctsy fuse and tests fine

 

The key hole is a button if you didn't try pushing it in.

 

And you may have to turn the key towards the driver side as well. It seems to "unlock" it on mine.

 

hmm it will unlock everything but won't open the hatch even when pushed in, oy sounds like i got some wiring issues. any relay related to this hatch? fuses all in good shape

 

If it's making a noise like something should be moving then something is broken. Search through the forums, there are a few write ups on what's probably broken.

 

no noise at all, just silence =/

 

I'm not sure if there are any relays for it, but there might be some corrosion on the button or one of the connections.

 

May be a shot actuator. Could check it with a DMM if you've got one, or even your car battery and a couple of wires.
