168,000 miles 2000 4x4- tranny went out at 110,000 after towing a U- haul from moving across the country. Going to do a tune-up and change all fluids soon as I get all the parts so I only have to lift the car up once. Engine runs great!

Just turned 230,000... Had the Trans gone through and beefed up due to a burned out 3-4 clutch. Trans blew up on the way back from Disney.
The guy that built it(30 years experience) used a Beast sunshell, hi-energy clutches, etc. I had rebuilt the valve body last year - did the pinless accumulators, vette 2-4 servo, and the "Orange Box" kit from Trango. That valve body work got me another 40,000 miles out of that tired slush box.
Picked up 4 mpg after the rebuild!
I had just rebuilt the rear-end a few months back - chewed up the pinion gear. Went 3.73:1s with an Eaton Locker. I only used 4wd this winter to pull people!
I guess I'll build the motor next, I ain't getting rid of my Blazer.

2005 Blazer 2 door, Auto, 4.3l with 33,525 ... got it a year ago from a widowed friend. It sat untouched in still garage for 3 years. Her husband, the owner, was a retired Vietnam Vet Marine LtCol ... One bad *** paratooper dude in his day.
This Blazer is THE most attended to vehicle I have ever seen (I've bought 3 new from dealership 1996 LS, 1998 LT & 2001 Z Tonka Truck). It is like brand new. The inside even smells new, seats were plastic covered and it was always garaged. Maintenance log is handwritten and extremely detailed, even fillups, gas price, mileage, tire pressures, Oil, Air, etc! SWEET!
