How many miles you got?

sure there is...........it's a 2WD truck!
don't know what it's like around Detroit, Mack, but a 2WD 2nd gen (2 door or 4 door) is a pretty rare find around here.
but i can understand your situation. i would've luvd to replace my Jetta when it broke the engine, but unfortunately, i bought the hard to find diesel. so no (cheap) replacement was available.
but that's ok, i'd rather drive my Blazer every day, then get rid of it to have another diesel Jetta.
but that's just me.

down here in Detroit you see more 2 wheel drives then you do 4x4. i actually see 2 exact copies of mine driving around all the time. there is a 4 door 2wd that is tucking tire and looks really good driving around

mind you........it really wouldn't help with your fuel mileage complaints.

just rolled her over 183k on the chassis, and just over 100k on the engine.
for an extra kick in the pants... I traded my 2011 Fusion for an '05 AWD Astro van to put miles on it for turn in. It's past it's life cycle, but under milage so we can't exchange it yet. No one wanted it.
Why does that matter? Because it's hardly broken in 48k Vortec would look and feel so SO nice in my rig
