Default idle

I have a 97 Blazer 4x4 4dr i just curious what it should be idling at? It idles at about 500( smooth) but that seems low and the throttle response is little slow. And how do u adjust it if i need to? Thanks

Well every auto i have ever owned was around 750.. and my old 99 jimmy was around 700 . it just seem low when i step on the gas it takes a bit before the tq converter locks in and get going , its like it has no power till the revs come up lol i could be on glue and this is maybe normal idle but from what i remember from my jimmy its not the same.

Yea I'm not too sure how to fix your pickup or w/e but as far as the idle goes I think you're okay....

Might wanna make an appointment with Midas or whoever you normally take it to and see what they say about that...

Let us know if you find anything out
