I'm Scared....
I carry insurance for that sort of thing. I get pretty angry when my vehicles get scratched or dinged ( except for the orange '85 'cause I beat the crap out of it myself). It does happen and I take pains to avoid it by picking what I think are safe parking spots. I've put a lot of work into restoring some of my vehicles so I take precautions and carry the insurance.
do what i did. just parellel park it and take up a couple of spots, i did that after i got in trouble for parking in the teacher's lot. they kept telling me that they would tow my truck, so i just always cut the wheels deep and put it in gear (it was a 5 speed) so they couldn't pick it up. they brought a tow truck so i gave in and moved
^ Haha. I'mlike woodsballr, people know if they touch my blazer, heads will roll. And plus I'm on the front row, and we have some ridiculous security cameras in the parking lot, those SOBs will zoom all the way in on a car. Do yall have cameras at your school SmokeU?
when i went out to lunch today i noticed a big dent with white paint on my drivers door, when i bought my car last year it had one small dent know it has 6. the kids at my school are half retarded on a good day and noone can park to save there life. i just take the parking tag off my mirror and park in the teacher lot.
Spots arent assigned at my school but everyone pretty much has the same spot everyday. I used to have a peice of crap jetta that was in good shape when i started driving to school but all the kids are idiots and the doors got dinged up and stuff. Well everyday when i would bring my car around to the auto shop in back, the same person would always take my spot that i parked in that morning. This would force me to go park in the back of our lot and walk a half mile to the shop door. So i started driving the blazer to school in october and the same person with thier crappy buick took my spot. Well i drove back to the shop and got the tow chain. Hooked it to the tow hooks on the blazer and the hooks under the front of the buick and put the truck in 4Low. Dragged it out of the spot and left in in the middle of the isle. I backed my truck in the spot and went inside. I told the kid if he touched my truck i would kick his ***. He never parked in my spot again lol.
Thats cool. We never have those problems. We have major problems with overcrowding in the parking lots, but once parking passes are assigned, if somone is in your spot, you report it and they are issued a warning by the school. 3warnings and you lose your parking privileges. Last year I had one for double parking. I parked literally sideways over my spot and the empty one next to me, just because the other spot was not used. Everyone though it was funny except the principal.
The main problem in ours is not the students, but their RETARDED PARENTS. They are not supposed to drop their kids off in the parking lot, there is a loop that runs around teh lot specificly for that purpose. Well many of them think its ok to drop them off in the front row of the lot instead of driving forward 10 more feet to the damn sidewalk. Ive also had parents park in my spot, which also pisses me off seeing as how they did NOT pay to park there. After the first time I tapped on a womans window (shes lucky she didnt roll down the window, she woudlve gotten an earfull) one of my buddies knew how pissedI would get and since then hes told people as I'm coming down the row to move.
I had told the kid about 20 times and left him notes saying not to park there.Obviouly my little jetta wasnt goin to move a buick lesabre. Thats why when i got the blazer on the road i dragged him out and never had the problem again.
