Default Intake Manifold Gaskets

Hello Blazer Fans,
My '00 Blazer has a small coolant leak from the intake manifold gaskets. My question is should I replace the air plenum gasket too, and should I use OEM or go with something better. I have heard mixed reviews about the OEM, but the gaskets on there now have lasted 13 years from the factory. And do I really need to replace intake manifold bolts? Whatcha think?

yeah felpro always seems to be really good when it comes to gaskets. last time i bought a intake kit for a 98 it came with the upper and lower intake gaskets, so if you want to replace the top part is up to you, wouldnt hurt since you are tearing it all apart

Ive done 2 intake gasket replacements, both of them i went ahead and replaced the upper plenim gasket as well as the lower (leaking) gasket (why not, it came with the set) no, i didnt bother with new bolts, cleaned them up good, since proper tourque is critical here, be sure to drain enough of the coolant out, otherwise you'll end up having to change the oil afterwards. Had that happen on my 96, pulled the intake thinking id drained enough coolant, then as the intake comes off, coolant came out of the passeges in the heads and into the lifter valley. I used the $30 fel-pro set both times ive done this job.
