I was wondering if anyone else had caught that. Looks like the 5.3 into the 4x4 requires a whole lot of extra work and fabrication resources

The guest (Scott) they had helping them is on another forum I belong to. He said working with them was a PITA and makes him not ever want to do another 4x4 lsx swap again. They was not clear to him on the swap and surprised him on it being a 4x4. They forgot to tell the part suppliers this also and thats why the mounts didn't fit, Scott stepped in and gave them some. He also said he didn't approve of the goose turd of a welding job Mike did on the oil pan but Mike wouldn't let him call a real welder to do it right. Overall I'm glad to not see another cookie cutter lsx in a 2wd swap but not impressed with the show after hearing the behind the scenes going ons.

Its a 3 part series and not sure when the other 2 parts are gonna be on.

I thought the same thing when I saw the welds on the pan. I'm glad they didn't end up putting the BL in it though.
