Default Intermittent slow take off

I have a 97 Blazer LS that has been running fine until the other day. I came to a stop and as I started to take off it felt like it was trying to take off in high gear. I manually shifted down and shifted up through the gears as I got up to speed. The car seemed to run ok once I was going 35 mph or so. I shut the car off a little later and when I started off everything seemed ok. A couple of days later it was sluggish again. Any ideas?

So when you were in 1/2/3 it did not feel sluggish at all?

Did it feel like the tranny was straining when you left it in D or did it feel like an air/fuel supply issue?

I`m somewhat having that problem with mine even though i do drive kinda easy with mine so it doesnt blow up... It sometimes slips when i go around corners where i dont have to make a full stop... It now has 81,000 miles on it, i bought it in june of 07 with 54,000,, I`m thinking its time tio just get the tranny rebuilt but stronger than stock... I`m prob gonna have a shift kit put in it and corvette servos like i did in my 93 chevy van with the same elec tranny...4L60E
