well - he managed to weld up a a brace for it...and only charged me $50....lets hope it last at least through the winter...then in the summer i can do a swap and fix it permantly....

My son's 2002 Blazer. He lives with my paents. After working on it for 5 days, got it done. I didn't work on it yesterday though, so you can say 4 days. I only worked on it a few hours a day, as it was too cold all week. Got it all done, and started it to make coolant system was full. Left to take my brother home (he helped today) and my dad calls, says it won't starts, and my son thinks the starter sounds funny. Now keep in mind he couldn't change a flat if his life depended on it. So I go back over and battery ground wire is a bit loose, even though the bolt is tight. I told my mom I'd come back tomorrow and figure it out.
I hate, no despise, side post batteries. One of the stupid inventions. This was the first time I had to remove the whole dash, and I'll never do it again.
I just wanted to share that.
