Default k&n intake for 93 vortec blazer

Will the k&n intake part # 57-3009 http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=57-3009 for the '95 work on the older body style '93 blazer? I thought I read about someone putting it on their 1st gen blazer but I couldn't find it again to save my life. It's a different body style but the same engine. It looks like it would fit, but i'm worried about where it crosses the belt and fan if it's flat enough so it wouldn't rub on the belt/fan or the hood. If anything I could always just heat it a little with a heat gun and flatten it out some more couldn't I?

Default

It does fit the first gen cpi engines. All I had to do was file the fan shroud down a little so it wouldn't rub on it, and trim the hood liner becuse when it shut it would rub on it a little. and the barrier didn't fit because of the "coffee can" down under the stock air box. I'm sure it would fit with some cutting on it, but I haven't had time to mess with it.
