I purchased new remotes on Ebay for my GMC 2000 Jimmy. The seller provides a web link for the programming instructions. The remotes look and work like the OEM remote. I had to replace mine because it went through the wash.

2 For 1998 1999 2000 2001 Chevrolet Blazer Remote Keyless Entry Key Fob | eBay

Do you know if the Euro remote is different or not. I read that there is a code the needs to be entered to program the remote but once the code is entered will a US Spec remote work? The code could be for the vehicle side and not necessarily for the remote.

US Speck remotes will not work as Euro remotes use a different frequency.

I clicked the dealer from Portland and they have an email and phone number listed. It would be worth an email or a phone call to the dealer. They might be able to do a transaction through phone call and email.
