Default Did my Blazer used to have a key fob?

I have keys for my Blazer (obviously) but I was wondering if it originally came with a key fob/transmitter.

Here are my hints:
1) 2001 4WD/4DR LS Blazer
2) There is no key hole in the tailgate
3) It has power everything (door locks, etc.)

Is there any way to tell whether this Blazer came with the fob from the factory? If so, how can I tell?

I can try to buy a key fob and try to sync it as per that thread, but that is what I am trying to avoid if the Blazer doesn't have RKE anyways!

Well. If it didnt come able to handle a key fob, then it wouldnt signal that it was in 'learn mode'. That signal will happen whether or not you actually have a fob, right?

Hold down unlock on the door.
Cycle key on, off, on, off. Doors should lock and unlock.
Where else would that be coming from, if it didnt have RKE?
So, if you get that to happen.. THEN:
Hold down unlock and lock on key fob until locks cycle again.
Gm doesnt usually put in funct that wont be used.

I would check the RPO codes listed on your glove box to find out for sure. I believe if it did come with it the code listed would be. AU0 : LOCK CONTROL, REMOTE ENTRY – KEYLESS ENTRY (DOMESTIC)

So, the key to figuring out if an 02 Blazer used to have the remote keyless doohickey thing is if there is a keyhole in the tailgate? Bummer.
