Cold weather keyless entry fob not working consistently. If close to the vehicle it will sometimes. After the weather warms up working good. Any ideas. New fob and New battery. Thank you

 

Do you know if its a factory keyless entry fob, or aftermarket?

If it's aftermarket, based on past experience as an automotive electronics installer, the first place I'd check is the ground for the keyless entry unit. It will be under the dash somewhere, most likely on the driver side. Sometimes installers take shortcuts and don't clean the paint off where they ground a wire, which over time could lead to increased resistance and decreased performance.

 

It is a factory keyless remote.
