just an FYI, 5 sp blazers do NOT get better gas mileage, they actually get worst mileage then the auto's do.

sis had a 5sp, i got an auto, same gearing very similar tires, 2 dr 4x4's both ran great, i could get more to a tank in mine then hers.

Thats what I was thinkin, I'll give him a call tomorrow, hoping ill have a structurally sound truck and one i can rely on not to get stuck if i pick it up.
