im looking for a rear end and leaf springs for a 98 4x4 blazer with 3.42 gear ratio. preferably close to southern IL (carlyle lake area) at one time or another i loaded my blazer down 2 much with firewood causing my leaf springs to depress. i was goin through a u joint reguarly cuz of this issue. but since then this is the 2nd rear end it has locked up due to vibrations from drive shaft. i only got 20k miles out of 2nd rear end outta a 02 blazer that was totaled that rear end only had 34k miles on it when i got it from salvage yard last year.

As far as your particular situation with needing an axle... You might want to contact local yards and/or check out car-parts.com.
