Looking for my first project?
I've been thinking about it i've picked me up a Blazer/s10/everything else in that catagory tear down and rebuild manual. I'm thinking something along the lines of a 1st gen s10 or 1st gen early 2nd gen s10 or Blazer. I've decided it's gotta be a 6 cylindar, as i refuse to drive or do anything 4 cylindar just for the fact of i like having a decent amount of speed without massive part wear and/or detonation.
It's not going to be soon as i owe my dad 500 bucks, but i'm looking around the 400 - 500 range for a truck that might not run or does run but is rough. Just my first project i've been fantacizing about tearing it down and rebuilding it for the experience.
I'd like some input, it dosen't have to be a s10 or anything, just want a tear down/rebuild project gimme some suggestionssss! please =)

find an old pickup from the 60's or 70's thats rotting in some field. I love the looks of older trucks when they are restored

True, next time i'm out in the sticks i'll talk to my grandpa he's always got a chevy layin around somewhere, the awesome thing is i've already got a/t's sitting in the shed with the original blazer rims in them if im right, we had them on the blazer for a while but they never balanced out, and scrubbed

I've kinda narrowed down my narrowing in the first post, I'd rather have a 4 cylindar 5 speed than anything, +alot gas, - Complexity, +More Parts, Their's a lot of them. Also, it just needs to run, and shift and have a decent body (Little to no rust, Not been wrecked major,) Just a decent vehicle that is salvageable lol

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i hope your joking....................................
get into the jbodies, love them they are easy and cheap, fun to mod and do custom work to, nice z24 (95-99 year model) i would stay away from the 95's tho, some have obd1 ports with obd2 computers....or something like that its weird i wouldnt buy a 95, but its up to you, plus the look of a cavalier done right is awesome =)

I'd buy an 86 honda for 150 from the gfs brother if i wanted a car, i'd have it salvaged and get my money back. I've got a small truck out in statesboro but it's 2wd, i'm thinking more of a 4x4 beach truck that looks like crap lol

you could make the 2wd a pre-runner like brett did to his 2500
