Default Low idle and flickering lights.

So my truck broke down and needed some work. Over the past year and a half I've replaced the starter, the fuel pump, the battery and the alternator. It did sit for about 6-7 months but I was able to get it started after replacing the fuel pump, which was the final thing I fixed, and started it up. Everything was good except the truck wouldn't hold a charge and kept dying. So then I replaced the alternator (it sat the 6-7 months between replacing the pump and replacing the alternator) and the battery and got it started up. But now it's idling real low and the lights are flickering pretty bad. Anyone have any ideas? It's an 02 Chevy Blazer with the V6 vortec engine in it. Thanks in advance for any help. Also now it won't start. I'll put the key in and the lights come on then I try to start it and it all turns off and doesn't turn or make any noise at all

The first step is to make sure that the battery can be charged fully and will hold 12.6v after you knock off the surface charge then make sure that the battery connections are clean and tight. Then report if everything energizes at key on and if the starter will engage.
