Default LOWERING KIT

With some of my christmas money i'm going to lower my truck (85 s10 blazer 2wd) and I was just wondering if:

1.) Anyone has ever used DJM Suspension? If so are they good?

2.) Would I be able to lower my truck 4" with my stock wheels and tires on it? I think they are 215/70r15, not positive though.

3.) Is it something I could do myself? If so whats tools would I need?

THANK YOU!

A few friends of mine had DJM suspension on their trucks and never had an issue. As for install I know the rear blocks are easy to install, but the front uses a drop spindle which requires some knowledge on how to install it. Sometimes it's just best bringing it a local shop to do you install that way they'll do your wheel alignment at the same time.

What nj4x4blaze suggested is best and djm is awesome, as for doing a 4 inch drop with stock size tires, not a good idea you might get into a rubbing issue. You might have to go to a lower profile tire like 45 series I believe for a 4 inch drop.

Thanks...

I'll probably take my wheels off on 1 side and look 2 see exactly what i'll be getting into. And I'll also try to take a few measurements from my wheelwell to my tire. sounds stupid to me but i don't have the money for new tires right now, so i wanna make sure it'll work before i buy the kit.

for starters just go with a 2-3 drop which is cheap and easy to install and wont require new tires!!!

DJM as an awsome company and they have a great product. Its actually easy to do. Rear is just undo the U bolts(13/16 I think) and put the new ones on with the drop blocks. Front for a 4 inch would either be 2 inch spindles and 2 inch coils or 4 in coils. For the spindles it is easy you have 3 bolts to take out:1 upper control arm(15mm I think), 1 lower control arm(18mm I think)and 1 tie rod(13mm I think) (all have a cotter pin in that you have to take out) and you need a pickle fork to seperate the upper and lower control arms from the spindle.
IMO a 2/3 would look great(its what I got) and you can run your stock tires.
