Default mid 80's s10 3/4 ton pickup idea

i've been reading on here about engine swaps and folid front axles, and i got the idea to put an s10 body and frame on a 3/4 ton chevy 4x4 drive train. i can get basically everything i need for nothing except for a trans and some of the needed brackets for the axle swap. it probably wouldnt be street legal but it would be damn fun. give me any input or ideas

I think this has been done/attempted previously...

I have seen plenty of Fbodies and Camino's sitting on Blazer/Truck fullsize frames....

It can be done and would make for a good trail rig. Done right it could pass safety depending on your state.
