my god is it cold inside ....
Things just aren't hot enough ......
My Jimmy isn't even reaching operating temp, I get 2 lines of the stop on the temp guage (stop is 40 degrees C and 1/2 is 100) so I blocked of the grille as it is -17 today (a bit warmer YAY)
Even at stop it doesn't get warmer (taking windchill out the equasion)
In turn this means the cab is freezing even after an hour of running.
Now when i open the rad at cold i don't seemed to get the tell tail sign of a stuck open thermostat (no bubbling of coolant) The rad is full of coolant, the pipes get warm to touch but not overly hot.
I have removed the blend gate actuator (needs repaired) and set the gate to allow hot air in but i get luke warm at best.
the coolant looks good (this was checked by the shop when I had it in recently)
So what do you think as i'm at a loss?

So it turns out it was the T-Stat, which has now been done (got the shopp to do it as it is far to cold for me to be messing around under the bonnet (read hood)
I mean it made it down to -40 degrees C on Monday
