My wife's new Blazer
We picked up a "new" Blazer for my wife on Saturday. She has always liked that body style and doesn't like the newer, more rounded body styles of current similar sized SUV's. I told her that if she really wanted one we should get one while there are still clean ones out there for sale. It is a 2000 4x4 model with the LT package with On-Star (which is unfortunately now useless). It is a dark metallic blue (Indigo Blue) with a charcoal cloth interior. The dark blue looks really sharp with the LT model chrome and tinted windows. That model is pretty well loaded already with power seat, heated mirrors, auto 4wd, etc. The only additional options were steering wheel radio controls and a cassette deck in addition to the CD player. The original window sticker was $29,742. We paid $4,200 for it. It does have 117,000 miles on it but it is extremely clean, been garaged all of its life and has been very well maintained. It drives like its new and looks very good.
