Default mystery metal part???

these 2 mystery parts were left by the previous owner. Didn't say what they were, and I have never seen them before, and aren't sure if these are vehicle related as there were also sway bar links in the vehicle.

They are 4 flat pieces of metal, 2 to 2.5 inches long, connected with 3 little bolts, and have rubber between them. one side had 3 flat hooks on it, 2 facing one way, and the middle facing the other...

They look like a pulleys to me, non vehicle related pulley that is. It could be some sort of recovery system. The hooks on the end can be tied to a tree or other anchor point then you fit rope through the pulleys in the middle. If done enough times it can be a 3 to 1 pull ratio or more.

Pulley System Wiki

These are harbor freights to where as the ones you have look homemade, and not bad at that either.

very well. I didn't think they were vehicle related, as I can bend them by hand, but just needed to make sure. Getting inspected tomorrow, and have some work cut out for me tonight. lol.

****** blocks... with those and a legnth of rope strung between all 3 pulleys in each you could unstuck your truck yourself almost... that makes a 6:1 pull ratio.

Keep em

those are way too light duty to pull a truck with. probably more like a garage ceiling bicycle lift pulley setup

I figured they weren't vehicle worthy. I had a ****** block for my wrangler, and it was far heavier. These almost look lik they may work on Tonka trucks...
