ya never take a chance with a vehicle ur buying someone elses headaches u need to know what ur looking for and be able to have a feel for the vehicle for test driving it to see if there is any major mechanical things wrong with it. keep an eye open for the newer blazers or jimmys. and personally dont buy a explorer i was gonna buy one before i got my jimmy and a few ppl said they are crap upon crap. only good thing is the rear axle is a 8.8
