New Here... 2001 Blazer...
First, thanks for adding me... South Carolina here...
I am looking for some guidance on a heat issue... When i bought the blazer, the only thing that worked was the heat and it worked GREAT... The air was not working at all so i replaced the compressor and recharged it and checked for leaks... I flushed the heater core at that time and it needed it because it was disgusting... I installed a new radiator... Now the AIR works amazing but the heat will not do anything... Stays cold...
I can feel the dial on the actuator turning as i move it back and forth with NO temp change... The part is also working that changes it from floor, vent, to defrost but once again, it stays COLD...
What am i missing? Thank you

The blend door actuator is electronic and the gears sometimes strip or crack.
Look up videos on this repair and see if seu can confirm this as the issue.
Depending on the year, these can be replaced by going through the glove box but it is a pain.
In a pinch, and assuming the blend door actuator is bad, there is a small access hole on the top of the blend door air box in the engine compartment mounted to the firewall through which you can manually move the blend door to full hot for the winter.
Something I recently relearned is that if you have the computer climate control system and the power to the vehicle is lost, the blend dooe has to go through a quick relearn to set itself correctly.
