It's very obvious that you put the fittings on backwards. Hopefully you put them on correctly after testing us. Cookie?

yeah its only gonna 60 psi...it will be fine.

I hope you will post a how to with fitting sizes etc. That is the smartest way to go in my opinion. Could you use AirQuip fittings? My 86 F250 4x4 460 has a factory engine oil cooler & it came with AirQuip hose & fittings from FORD. They used #8 hose.
