ive been needing something better on gas and i miss having a pickup
this guy has a 98 S10 RCSB 2wd 4cyl 5 speed (81K on the clock)real clean no rust or anything. 5" lift with 31x1050 BFG AT's

im looking at trading him my 97 jimmy slt
4wd 4.3 153000 on the clock. 2" lift with 235/75's has every option but the G80 but is deff used

i was looking for a 2wd dime anyways, he has all the stock stuff so i may take off the lift and sell it

i know this is stupid with no pics but opinions?

 

Me personally, I wouldn't do it. My older bro has a pickup about that size, and whenever I drive it...It's fun, the 5spd is great, it's quick and dirty, but you can't do much with it. The blazer (jimmy) is much more capable.

Then again, you'd be dropping from 153,000 miles, to 81,000. That alone might be worth it!

 

well im not looking to wheel it. i just drive so much i need something with better mileage and lower miles. this just happens to be lifted

 

i couldnt even imagine what the 4cyl is like, but if its good on gas and thats what you want...

 

id do it.... i looked into a trade almost identical myself... but the s-10 had like 30,000 miles on it... guy totalled it before we could do it

ive decided to keep my jimmy. i found a set of dick cepek 31x10.50s on ZR2 rims for 100 bucks and am picking up this weekend. ive decided to get some money together and buy a new truck next fall

 

Those 4 Cylinders are underpowered enough but with a lift NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Well if you traded for the lifted S10, I have a guy who would have loved to trade suspensions with ya.

 

I had a98 four cylinder 5 speed, there is no comparison between the 4 and 6 and from my experience gas mileage isn't that much better with the 4. Definitely not worth the HUGE loss in power.
