yeah i dont like the spare under the car. when i purchased my envoy it was from canada sent all the way down to el paso, so it had a little rust from salt. I think my spare is all rusty and not very usable, as the tire doesnt look right either. Thanks for the explanation

I got the brush guard in about 4 days. It ships really quick. If you order before 3 pm texas time (which i think is central time) they send it out same day. As for tips to install it if you go with the hunter, first it bolts the the brackets that hold up the side of the bumper so look for those (uses 2 factory bolts on each side), and as for hardware you will find 14 stainless bolts with washers and nuts on them. Six are larger than all of them and attach the center to the lower mounts, 6 are slightly smaller and areused to attach the sides to the center, and lastly 2short skiny ones hold the center to the top bumper straps. Now you will finda bunch of black bolts that they claim are supposed to be for the side pieces. These are way too small and dont work. Just use the big boys and paint em black if you are concerned about the color. Also it came with 2 long stainless bolts. I have no idea what these are for and they arent in the instructions so i just put em in my bolt box.
Man, i really need to do some write ups and post in the Do-it-yourself area, lol. One thing i forgot to mention about the rear carrier is i used some silicone sealant on the back side of the taillight to keep water out.

Looking good! Esp. that brushguard.
And the "blazer" lights are awesome. I got a set myself and they are the best ones I've found yet.

Hey Rob, where is that bowtie from? It's quite cool, and I need a solution to the crack in mine caused by heat over the years... but my Blazer is white..uh...

I've seen a couple of bowties like that on e-bay. There are also a bunch of other ones too. IMO chrome goes good with white and there are a bunch on there.

Yep i got mine off ebay. Real easy to install too, just pull the grille take a socket wrench to the nuts that hold it on, swap in the new, tighten and you're done. Ive seen them in the factory gold, red and black, blue, camo, chrome, zebra stripes, and a few others. Havent seen any white ones yet but im sure you could get a factory one and paint it if you so cared to. Either that or go chrome, it just looks clean on a white blazer.

On iceflames11's Blazer that chrome/brushed aluminum bowtie looks really good, I just couldn't picture that since the plastic chrome bar it mounts to is also...chrome. But it looks so good I think that's what I'll do. Iceflames11, do you know where you got that exact one?
